Dhikala Sunder forest area is about 30 km from Dhangarhi gate and Ramnagar which is called as the gate of Jim Corbett is about 18 km from Dhangari gate. And if you have a fast driver then it takes around 20-25 minutes to cover this distance. The journey from Dhangarhi Gate to Dhikala forest area is very adventurous and you have to pass through dense Sal forest and Ramganga river with many cyclic rivers. It takes 2 hours to reach Dhikala Zone from Dhangri Gate. Along the way, you will find many wild animals like Royal Bengal Tiger, Herd of Deer, Sambar Deer, Barking Deer, Indian Hog Deer, Monitor Lizard, Asian Elephant, Jackal, Fishes and Crocodiles, as Dhikala Forest Area Center is the place for wildlife lovers.
